Composer / Producer / Bass Player / Educator
I am really excited about having the chance to help you develop your musical ideas, your mixes, your musicianship, your career and anything else I can help with.
I have written, produced, and mixed over a thousand pieces of music and I have had something I created or helped shape, played somewhere in the world, every week for over 20 years, whether it be on radio, television, cinema, online or anywhere else you can think of. I have managed to do a few gigs along the way as well.
Music is about expressing yourself and creating magic. It is how I connect to other people and the world around me.
I am guessing that if you are on this site, it is probably the same for you. Not only that, but you are doing one of the smartest and most important things you could ever do. You are searching for the knowledge to better yourself and your music.
Let me help you discover new ways of approaching your music. Some things might be technical, if we are discussing your mixes. Some things might be physical, if we are talking about how you are with your instrument. I don't have all the answers, no one does, but I can promise you one thing. I will do my best to share with you as much as I can to help you on your way.

Composer / Saxophonist / Pianist
Music Review and Feedback
I am a Seattle-based music composer for video games, a piano teacher, and a saxophone performer for numerous bands and local DJs. I have a critical ear and a strong motivation to see other musicians succeed in expressing the best versions of their work. I'm detail-oriented, which sometimes leads to the issue of perfectionism. However, in the realm of constructive criticism, I believe my conscientious ear is quite useful.
I obtained my Bachelor of Music degree in Music Composition-Theory from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as well as my Master of Music degree in Music Composition for Film from the Seattle Film Institute. Alongside my many years as a freelance composer, performer, and teacher, my schooling gives credence to my ability to explain melodic, harmonic, rhythmic, and formal concepts with the proper terminology. I can communicate these ideas to help refine any musical product, both compositionally as well as in the production stage.

And I can make suggestions on recording styles, techniques, and production concepts that will help your songs really jump out of the speakers.

Feedback for Songwriting, Production, Guitar, Bass, Drums, or Voice
My name is Spenser Harrison, and I am a singer, songwriter, producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. I am a Berklee College of Music alum with 10+ years of experience in production and songwriting, specializing in alternative/experimental rock and pop. My primary instruments are electric guitar and electric bass (10 years of experience.) I am also a vocalist (8 years experience) and have ten years of experience with drums/drum machines. I have volunteered as a mentor for Berklee Online on two separate occasions and also volunteered as a teaching assistant for one of Berklee's music theory courses on edX. All of my experience with Berklee has given me the tools I need to provide precise, quality feedback on the fields mentioned above.
